Strategy
A static statue wouldn’t cut it. Chriet was a broadcaster, a thinker, a dreamer with a love for tech. So the concept needed movement, sound, surprise. The team used Titulaer’s original voice and media fragments as the foundation for a digital monument that could truly reflect his futuristic spirit. Not just a nod to the past, but a spark for the next generation.
Approach
The result is a holographic installation in Hout-Blerick: a floating, animated vision of Chriet that talks and gestures, pulled from his own broadcasts. Designed in collaboration with Tim Arts, the memorial invites interaction and curiosity. Animation studio Job, Joris & Marieke (yes, the Oscar nominees) brought Chriet’s likeness to life in 3D. It’s not just a tribute, it’s a time machine.
Result
Locals love it. Visitors stop. Kids stare. The hologram has become a centerpiece of Hout-Blerick, sparking conversations and curiosity about science, space and possibility. Titulaer’s dream of inspiring new generations lives on, in flickering light and sound.
