Due to a large-scale relocation and renovation, Venlo's Museum van Bommel van Dam was temporarily homeless - or was it?
Overwhelming art and giant paintings that took years to produce; Evert Thielen is not one for subtlety. For a large-scale exhibition on the artist, the Limburgs Museum was looking for a smaller-scale location in the city that produced him. Using minimal resources and well-thought-out (reusable) elements, a pop-up exhibition of sketches and drawings was designed at Museum van Bommel van Dam - from routing to signage and exhibition rooms to lettering.
