Strategy

Three perfumes form the heart of the collection. Celestine Drift is fresh, airy and ozonic with frozen citrus, sharp aldehydes and white musk evoking crisp polar winds and freshly fallen snow. Eonveil Frost brings a warm, woody and mystical profile through fossilised resin, aged guaiac wood and silver moss, like ancient forests hidden beneath ice. Abyssal Cryogem is mineral and ethereal, blending saline minerals, white iris and ambroxan into a refined, almost transparent scent. Together, they form a triptych: fresh & icy, warm & mystical and mineral & ethereal. Completing the collection is Obsidian Veil, a passive home diffuser with a porous stone that slowly releases scent, mirroring the gradual diffusion of ancient air trapped deep in glacial ice.

Approach

We set out to create a tactile narrative that balances the poetic stillness of Antarctica with the precision of scientific exploration. Our journey began with the search for materials that could convey both purity and depth, leading us to glass as our central medium. Its clarity, weight and recyclability made it the perfect carrier for a story rooted in frozen time.

The outer packaging is stark white, evoking untouched snowfields. Subtle embossing of Antarctica rises like land from beneath ice, paired with silver foil typography that shimmers like frost and metal tools used in glacial research. Inside, the contrast is immediate: deep matte black, interrupted by a laser-cut elevation map. This shift from minimalism to topography mirrors the tension between what is seen and what lies beneath.

We eliminated traditional spray mechanisms in favour of glass droppers and closures: crafted entirely from mono-material to maximise recyclability and encourage slower, more mindful use. Even the diffuser lid and the symbolic key at the centre of the display follow this philosophy. Each piece resembles a cut section of an ice core: textured, layered and precisely labelled. In every detail, material choices reinforce the ritual, precision and storytelling that define Core Essence.

Result

A concept that feels quiet yet memorable: coherent narrative, tactile forms, and responsible design baked into the experience. Core Essence premiered at LUXE PACK Monaco.
