From Venlo with love, a musical campaign that spanned the globe
After years of moving full-speed ahead touring the world with brutal bass sounds, Samir and Diego, aka Moksi, were looking for a new approach to their music. When the pandemic came and life fell silent, they dove into their studio in Venlo for two years, re-emerging with Free Moksi, an album that combines old influences and new inspirations into a contemporary statement piece.
Periscoop built a campaign linking the international fanbase to Moksi's roots in Venlo. With a team of local creatives such as Studio Jean, Alifuru Visual Design and Falize Photography, we designed a content series with a raw DIY edge to suit the world-famous performers. From the music video for A Million Dollars to the DJ livestream on 1001tracklists and PR to social photography.
Collaborating with Bureau Magneet, the unique content was promoted on YouTube and Instagram through a well-coordinated advertising campaign. A special influencer gift box has also been designed to activate the international network of Moksi and Barong Family, and with coverage by Yellow Claw, Kraantje Pappie and DJ Snake new audiences were reached.
